Wood Burning
Each tip I use has a different function. Ball tips are used for stippling in various sizes from tiny dots to larger more prominent dots on the art piece. Shader tips vary in width and open or closed functionality which changes the type of shading to be done. Knife edge tips (various sizes and shapes) are mainly used for cutting a deep burn in lines as a pattern or using the very tip to make fine detail burns on an intricate piece.
