When I picked up this Aspen board I immediately saw two owls in my mind so I created it. The Aspen board has such beautiful coloring of blues, grays, pinks, and browns I could not even fathom taking away from it by adding in a background other than the owls. This pair of owls are a mating pair with the colorful male and the muted colors of the female.
I love the details of the female that is getting ready to land while her mate keeps his eyes fixed on some sort of movement that’s caught his attention.
